Optimize PC Performance

If you always visiting the websites or downloading files or videos from Internet, you should know that it is a good habit to clear away a bunch of temporary files which are left by browsing websites. Such files are inevitable but you can get rid of them manually. You can open Internet Explorer and choose "Internet Options". In the dialog box, click "General" tab and click "Delete Files" in the "Temporary Internet files" column. And in the "Delete Files" dialog box, tick "Delete all offline content" and click "OK". By doing this, you can free up disk space a lot and optimize PC performance.


You can close down devices that you do not use any more. In fact, Windows system can install drive programs for all the devices as many as possible. Such behavior is good will but it slows down computer startup speed and takes up a lot of system resource.


In order to solve this problem, you can open "Device Manager" by right-clicking "My Computer" -"Properties" - "Hardware" and click "Device Manager" in the column. In the tab, you can double-click the device you want to turn off, such as the function of "Printer Port". In the "General" tab, you choose "Do not use this device (disable)" and restart the computer. All of these new settings go into effect immediately. If you want to start them up, you can change in the same tab.


Since there are many methods to optimize PC performance, you should be patient to try all of them if you really want to improve computer performance.
