As its name suggests, "Low Disk Space Notification" is to remind users when it is going to run out. As for the main system drivers, it is especially important to protect system from losing data because of its overstaffed space. If this happens during the main system drivers working, it can result in overwhelming system swap files. At the same time, the system can not install or exit programs normally. What is worse, the running out space can lead to system freezing up and data loss.


Since free disk space is reducing day after day, Windows may remind you more and more frequently. When available disk space is less than 200MB, Windows remind you every time when you start computer and once four hours on condition that it is less than 80MB till your available space is over that. More terrible, you have to bear the interference once five minute when the space is below 50MB.


You may not know that too many notifications can reduce working efficiency and worsen computer performance, because the system have to spend more time in detecting free space which should be supposed to complete other tasks.


Therefore, if the it is too low, you had better free up space. And, defragment disk is the first your first choice.
